A presbytery in Tuscany
Situated in the heart of the Metalliferous Hills 25 km south of Volterra where the Etruscans have left many imprints, still visible in their thermae, this 18th century presbytery overlooks the wooded hills of the « macchia mediterranea » from a height of 500 m. The very pure air to be found there accentuates the fragrance of a varied flora that is the pride of the Santa Maria Chemist’s « pots-pourris » in Firenze since 1640. Peace and silence add to the luxury of the inviolate landscape that surrounds the presbytery.
